Introduction of Jharakhand Cinema – झारखंड फिल्म इंडस्ट्री को Jhollywood कहा जाता है। इसके अंतर्गत कई भाषाओं में फिल्म बनाई जाती है जै। हिंदी, नागपुरी, संताली , कुरमाली और खोरठा में अधिकतर फिल्में बनती है।
नागपुरी फिल्म उद्योग (Jharkhand Cinema)
झॉलीवुड में मुख्य रूप से नागपुरी फिल्म का निर्माण होता है। प्रथम नागपुरी फिल्म 1992 में आई जिसका नाम था “सोनाकर नागपुर”। इस फिल्म का निर्देशक धनंजय नाथ तिवारी थे। धनंजय नाथ तिवारी को नागपुरी सिनेमा का पितामह कहा जाता है।
फुलमुनिया
यह पहला नागपुरी फिल्म है जो Multiplex में रिलीज हुआ। यह फिल्म 2019 में रिलीज हुआ। इसके पोस्टर को लेकर विवाद खड़ा हुआ था, बाद में सेंसर बोर्ड ने बिना काट-छाँट के रिलीज सर्टिफिकेट दिया। यह फिल्म झरिया में हुई एक घटना (डायन प्रथा, बांझपन) पर आधारित है। इस फिल्म को 2019 के 72वा कांस फिल्म फेस्टिवल में प्रदर्शित किया गया। इस फिल्म को हिंदी भाषा में भी रिलीज किया गया है। इस सिनेमा में ज्योति साहू(महिला) नंदलाल नायक और मुकुंद नायक ने गाना गाया है। इस फिल्म में कोमल सिंह (फुलमुनिया),मोनिका मुंडू मुख्य किरदार में है।
मोनिका मुंडू
ये एक झारखंड की प्रसिद्ध प्लेबैक सिंगर है। साथ ही इसने MS Dhoni:The Untold Story तथा Ilaka Kishoreganj जैसे बॉलीवुड मूवी के अलावा ‘झारखंड कर छैला’ और फुलमुनिया में अभिनय की है।
लाल विजय शाहदेव
लोहरदग्गा में जन्मे लाल विजय शाहदेव एक प्रसिद्ध सिनेमा डायरेक्टर,फिल्म राइटर और प्रोड्यूसर है। इसके द्वारा निर्देशित शॉर्ट फिल्म “The Silent Statue” को कांस फिल्म फेस्टिवल, 2016 में जगह मिली थी। इसके द्वारा निर्देशित हिंदी फिल्म “लोहरदग्गा” और नागपुरी फिल्म “फुलमुनिया” दोनो को 72वीं कांस फिल्म फेस्टिवल 2019 में प्रदर्शित किया गया।
इसके द्वारा बनाया मूवी लोहरदग्गा को 2018 में और फुलमिनिया को 2019 में Jharkhand International Film Festival Awards समारोह में प्रदर्शित किया गया। इसे 2019 में झारखंड गौरव सम्मान और 2021 में बिरसा मुंडा ज्योति सम्मान(Best Director) मिला है।
नंदलाल नायक
ये झारखंड के प्रसिद्ध नागपुरी गायक, गीतकार और अभिनेता है। ये पदमश्री मुकुंद नायक के पुत्र है। ये National Award विजेता फिल्म “Amu (2005)” के म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर है। ये हिंदी मूवी “लोहरदग्गा और “The Last Supper” के म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर है। नागपुरी सिनेमा फुलमिनिया और धुमकुड़िया के भी म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर है। 2019 की चर्चित नागपुरी सिनेमा धूमकुडिया के निर्देशक और म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर दोनो ही नंदलाल नायक थे।
बॉलीवुड सिनेमा जिसकी सूटिंग झारखंड में हुई
1. काला पत्थर – यस चोपड़ा द्वारा निर्देशित और अमिताभ बच्चन एवं शशि कपूर द्वारा अभिनीत यह फिल्म चासनाला खान दुर्घटना, 1975 पर आधारित है। चासनाला धनबाद में स्थित एक कोयला खान है।
2. सत्यकाम – 1969 में नारायण सान्याल की उपन्यास सत्यकाम पर आधारित इस मूवी का निर्देशन ऋषिकेश मुखर्जी ने किया है। धर्मेंद्र और शर्मिला टैगोर द्वारा अभिनीत इस फिल्म की सूटिंग पूर्वी सिंहभूम के घाटशिला में हुई थी।
3. हिप हिप हुर्रे
प्रकाश झा द्वारा निर्देशित,राज किरण और दीप्ति नवल द्वारा अभिनीत 1984 की इस फिल्म का सूटिंग राँची और नेतरहाट में हुआ था।
4. उड़ान – 2010 की यह मूवी की सूटिंग जमशेदपुर में हुई, इस मूवी का प्रदर्शन कांस फिल्म फेस्टिवल (2010) में हो चुका है।
5. A Death In The Gung
यह एक कोंकोना सेन शर्मा निर्देशित एक सिनेमा है जिसका सूटिंग राँची के मैकलक्सीगंज में हुआ। कोंकणा सेन शर्मा को इस सिनेमा से Best Debut Director का Filmfare Award मिला।
6. MS Dhoni: The Untold Story
भारत क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान की जीवन पर आधारित इस सिनेमा का निर्देशन नीरज पांडे ने किया है। 2016 में बनी इस फिल्म की सूटिंग राँची और जमशेदपुर में की गई है। इस फिल्म में सुशांत सिंह राजपूत ने धोनी का किरदार निभाया है। धोनी की पत्नी साक्षी रावत का किरदार किआरा आडवाणी ने तथा उसके गर्लफ्रेंड प्रियंका झा का किरदार दिशा पटानी ने निभाया है।
7. Bubble Gum – 2011 में आई इस बॉलीवुड मूवी का सूटिंग जमशेदपुर में हुआ।
8. बेगम जान (Begum Jaan)- 2017 की इस मूवी में विद्या बालन मुख्य किरदार में है जिसका सूटिंग दुमका और राजमहल में हुआ है।
9. पंचलेट (Panchlait) – 2017 की यह फिल्म फनीश्वर नाथ रेणु की लघु कहानी(पंचलाइट ) पर आधारित है जिसे प्रेम प्रकाश मोदी ने निर्देशित किया इसकी सूटिंग देवघर में हुई।
10 अजब सिंह की गजब कहानी (Ajab Singh Ki Gajab Kahani)
2017 की यह फिल्म झारखंड के एक विकलांग IRS Officer अजब सिंह की जीवन पर आधारित है। इस फिल्म का निर्देशन ऋषि प्रकाश मिश्र ने किया है और अजब सिंह का किरदार अजय कुमार सिंह ने निभाया है।
11. राँची डायरीज (Ranchi Diaries) – 2017 की यह सिनेमा सात्त्विक मोहंती द्वारा निर्देशित की गई। इस सिनेमा की शूटिंग रांची में हुई।
12. कोयलांचल (Koyelaanchal)- 2014 की इस मूवी में सुनील सेठ्ठी और विनोद खन्ना ने अभिनय किया है, इस सिनेमा का सूटिंग हजारीबाग और रामगढ़ में हुआ है।
13. राहगिर: द वेफेयरर (Raahgir:The Wayfarers)
यह सिनेमा रांची और नेतरहाट में सूटिंग की गई। यह सिनेमा प्रफुल्ल रॉय की लघु कहानी राहगीर पर आधारित है।
14. सब कुशल मंगल (Sab Kushal Mangal) – 2020 की यह मूवी अक्षय खन्ना द्वारा अभिनीत है इसकी सूटिंग रांची में हुई।
15. One Day:Justic Delivered- 2019 की अनुपम खेर द्वारा अभिनीत इस थ्रिलर फिल्म रांची के पृष्ठभूमि पर आधारित है।
16. Gaon The Village No More – 2018 की यह सिनेमा झारखंड के ग्रामीण जीवन पर आधारित है। इस सिनेमा के निर्देशक गौतम सिंह सिकदर ने अपने झारखंड स्थित गांव से प्रेरित होकर बनाया है।
17. दिल बेचारा (Dil Bechara)
2020 की यह मूवी सुशांत सिंह राजपूत द्वारा अभिनीत है इस मूवी की सूटिंग जमशेदपुर और रांची में हुई है।
18. रामराज्य (Ramrajya)- बॉलीवुड की इस मूवी का सूटिंग रांची और बोकारो में हुआ है।
19. बनाना (Banana)- जॉन अब्राहिम की इस मूवी की सूटिंग जमशेदपुर में हुई है।
20. नास्तिक – अर्जुन रामपाल द्वारा अभिनीत इस मूवी की सूटिंग मेदिनीनगर में हुई है।
21. Ilaka Kiahoreganj (इलाका किशोरगंज) –इस मूवी में झारखंड के पृष्ठभूमि को दिखाया गया है।
Jharkhand International Film Festival Awards
यह पुरस्कार फिल्म उद्योग को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए 2018 से दिया जाता है। पहला और दूसरा JIFFA समारोह क्रमशः 2018 और 2019 में राँची में आयोजित हुआ। तीसरा समारोह COVID के वजह से ऑनलाइन आयोजित हुआ। 2018 में बेस्ट नागपुरी सिनेमा “महुआ” को और 2019 में “फुलमुनिया” को दिया गया।
RASCA AWARD
यह पुरस्कार संताली सिनेमा और कला को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए दी जाती है। इसका फुल फॉर्म Raghunath Murmu Academy Of Santali Cinema & Arts है। इस पुरस्कार की शुरुवात 2008 में की गई। पहला RASCA पुरस्कार समारोह XLRI ऑडिटोरियम (जमशेदपुर) में 5 मई 2008 में हुआ। 2009 और 2010 में ये समारोह नही हो पाया। 2011 से प्रतिवर्ष 5 मई को RASCA पुरस्कार समारोह आयोजित होता है। 5 मई 1905 को पंडित रघुनाथ मुर्मू का जन्म दिवस है, इसीलिए 5 मई को इस समारोह का आयोजन किया जाता है।
Important Facts Of Jharkhand Cinema
1. तमिल निर्देशक Pa Rajith द्वारा बिरसा मुंडा की Biopic बनाई जा रही है।
2. झारखंड में बनी पहली फीचर फिल्म का नाम “आक्रांत” है। ये फिल्म “दृश्यांतर इंटरनेशनल” के बैनर तले 1988 में रिलीज हुई। इस सिनेमा के निर्देशक विनोद कुमार थे। इसमें चंद्रशेखर दुबे और सदाशिव अमरापुरकर मुख्य भूमिका में थे। झारखंड में इससे पहले भी कई फिल्में बनी है मगर यह फिल्म पूरी तरह से झारखंड में बनी है तथा झारखंड के पृष्ठभूमि पर बनी है इसलिए इसे झारखंड की पहली फिल्म मानी जाती है।
3. पहला भोजपुरी सिनेमा “गंगा मैया तोहे पियरी चढ़इबो” के निर्माता झारखंड के एक व्यवसायी विश्वनाथ शाहाबादी थे।
4. साउथ कोरिया के एपोरिया इनटरनेशनल विलेज फ़िल्म फेस्टिवल, 2022 झारखंड के “बांधा खेत” नॉगपुरी शार्ट फ़िल्म का चयन हुआ है।
5. कुरुख भाषा की पहली सिनेमा “जहर जिनगी गही” है जिसे 2022 में लैंसफेम “अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म फेस्टिवल” में शामिल किया गया।
6. Jharkhand Cinema (Regulation) Act वर्ष 2000 में पारित हुआ।

Introduction of Jharkhand Cinema – Jharkhand film industry is called Jhollywood. Under this, films are made in many languages viz. Most of the films are made in Hindi, Nagpuri, Santali, Kurmali and Khortha.
Nagpuri Film Industry (Jharkhand Cinema)
Nagpuri films are mainly produced in Jollywood. The first Nagpuri film came out in 1992 named “Sonakar Nagpur”. Director of this film was Dhananjay Nath Tiwari . Dhananjay Nath Tiwari is called the father of Nagpuri cinema.

This is the first Nagpuri film which released in Multiplex. This film released in 2019. Controversy arose over its poster, later the censor board gave the release certificate without any cuts. The film is based on an incident (witchcraft, infertility) that happened in Jharia. The film was screened at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival in 2019. This film has also been released in Hindi language. The song is sung by Jyoti Sahu(Female), Nandlal Nayak and Mukund Nayak in this movie. This movie stars Komal Singh (Phulmuniya), Monica Mundu in lead roles.The song is sung by Jyoti Sahu (Female), Nandlal Nayak and Mukund Nayak in this movie.

Lal Vijay Shahdev
Born in Lohardagga, Lal Vijay Shahdev is a renowned cinema director, film writer and producer. The short film “The Silent Statue” directed by him was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, 2016. The Hindi film “Lohardagga” and the Nagpuri film “Phulmuniya” both directed by him were screened at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival 2019. The movie Lohardagga produced by him was screened at the Jharkhand International Film Festival Awards ceremony in 2018 and Fulminiya in 2019. It will be awarded Jharkhand Gaurav Samman in 2019 and Birsa Mund in 2021.
Nandlal Nayak
He is a famous Nagpuri singer, songwriter and actor from Jharkhand. He is the son of Padmashree Mukund Nayak. He is the music director of the National Award winning film “Amu (2005)”. He is the music director of Hindi movies “Lohardagga” and “The Last Supper”. He is also the music director of Nagpuri cinema Fulminiya and Dhumkudiya. Nagpuri cinema director and music director of 2019’s famous Dhoomkudiya.

1. Kala Patthar – Directed by Yes Chopra and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor, this film is based on the Chasnala Khan accident, 1975. Chasnala is a coal mine located in Dhanbad.
2. Satyakam – Based on the 1969 novel Satyakam by Narayan Sanyal, this movie is directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The film, starring Dharmendra and Sharmila Tagore, was shot at Ghatshila in East Singhbhum.
3. Hip Hip Hurre
Directed by Prakash Jha, the 1984 film starring Raj Kiran and Deepti Naval was shot in Ranchi and Netarhat.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film is based on the life of the former captain of the Indian cricket team. The shooting of this film made in 2016 has been done in Ranchi and Jamshedpur. Jharkhand International Film Festival Awards
This award is given since 2018 to encourage the film industry. The first and second JIFFA celebrations were held in Ranchi in 2018 and 2019 respectively. The third ceremony was held online due to COVID. Best Nagpuri Cinema was given to “Mahua” in 2018 and “Phulmuniya” in 2019.
RASCA AWARD
This award is given to encourage Santali cinema and art.Its full form is Raghunath Murmu Academy Of Santali Cinema & Arts. This award was started in 2008. The first RASCA award ceremony took place on 5 May 2008 at XLRI Auditorium (Jamshedpur). This ceremony could not be held in 2009 and 2010. Since 2011, the RASCA Awards ceremony has been held annually on 5 May. Pandit Raghunath Murmu’s birthday is on 5 May 1905, that’s why this ceremony is organized on 5 May.

1. Biopic of Birsa Munda is being made by Tamil director Pa Rajith.
2. The name of the first feature film made in Jharkhand is “Aakrant”. The film was released in 1988 under the banner of “Drishyantar International”. The director of this cinema was Vinod Kumar. It featured Chandrashekhar Dubey and Sadashiv Amrapurkar in the lead roles. Many films have been made in Jharkhand even before this, but this film is completely made in Jharkhand and is made on the background of Jharkhand, so it is called Jharkhand film.
3. The producer of the first Bhojpuri cinema “Ganga Maiya Tohe Piyari Chadhaibo” was Vishwanath Shahabadi, a businessman from Jharkhand.
4. “Bandha Khet” Nagpuri short film from Jharkhand has been selected for Aporia International Village Film Festival, 2022 in South Korea.
5. The first cinema in Kurukh language is “Zehar Jingi Gahi” which has been included in Lanfeme “International Film Festival” in 2022.
